Find the sum of the following arithmetic progressions:

50, 46, 42, …. To 10 terms

for the given AP the first term a is 50, and common difference d is a difference of second term and first term, which is 46 - 50 = - 4

To find: the sum of given AP


The formula for sum of AP is given by



Substituting the values in the above formula



s = 5 × 64


s = 320
