How the aim of India to respect the sovereign did find an echo in the Directive Principles of the State Policy?

The Directive Principles of the State Policy-Article 51 of the Indian Constitution lays down several principles and guidelines which endeavour to promote international peace and security and foster respect for international laws and relations between nations along with an encouragement for settlement of international disputes by arbitration which proves beyond doubt the aim of India to respect the individual sovereignty of other nations.
