Mention the military alliances formed by the Western Block.

The Western Block refers to an international alliance during the Cold War of the 1970s between several capitalist countries under the hegemony of the United States against the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. The Western Block formed several military alliances as well which included, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Southeast Asian Treaty Organization (SEATO) and the Central Treaty Organization (CENTO).
