Hormones in action:


Pituitary hormones: FSH and LH induce the follicular growth during the beginning of the cycle. A peak of LH leads to ovulation around the 14th day of the cycle.


Ovarian hormones: Estrogen repairs the endometrium and also causes the proliferation of the endometrium. Progestrone maintains the endometrim and prepares it for the implantation of the fertilized egg.
