When it comes to lessons and classes, without a doubt, English classes are the most interesting and fun, especially when we are reading a drama or story. This is because whenever there is such a lesson our teachers use innovative methods to make us read the same and understand it by actively participating in it.

One of the most interesting lessons was the one a few years back, when we had a lesson on a Shakespearean drama. What made it most interesting was the manner in which our teacher made us stand individually, assigning us characters from the play, and conducting the class as a real drama. We read out our individual parts with conviction and proper expressions, and our teachers took breaks in the meanwhile to explain the different passages and lines. At times, we were asked to suggest the meanings ourselves, which turned out to be hilarious at times.

The lesson was unforgettable, particularly because we all got involved with it so deeply. We used to look forward to the English class every week with enthusiasm. More than a routine class, it was actually like a retreat into the world of literature and Shakespearean drama.
