Factories:

i. x(x + 3) + 5(x + 3)

ii. 5x(x – 4) -7(x – 4)

iii. 2m(1 – n) +3(1 – n)

(i) x(x + 3) + 5(x + 3)

Taking x + 3 as common from the whole, we get,

(x + 3)(x + 5).

(ii) 5x(x – 4) -7(x – 4)

Taking x – 4 as common from the whole, we get,

= (x – 4)(5x – 7).

(iii) 2m(1 – n) +3(1 – n)

Taking 1 – n as common from the whole, we get,

(1 – n)(2m + 3).
