6x2 – 5x – 6

Given,


6x2 – 5x – 6


Now first find the numbers whose-


Sum = - 5 and


Product = - 6 × 6 = - 36


Required numbers are 9 and 4,


So we get;


= 6x2 – 9x + 4x – 6


= 3x(2x – 3) + 2(2x – 3)


= (2x – 3)(3x + 2)
