The area of a trapezium shaped field is 480 m2. The distance between two parallel sides is 15 m and one of the parallel sides is 20 m. Find the other parallel side.

Given:


Area of Trapezium = 480 m2


Distance between parallel sides = 15 m


One parallel Side = 20 m


Formula for area of trapezium,



Let the length of other side be x



960 = 300 + 15 x


660 = 15 x



Hence, length of other side is 44 m.
