Given: length = 578 cm and width = 374 cm


Finding HCF of length and width as minimum number of tiles is asked


Factors of 578 are 2,17,17


Factors of 374 are 2,11,17


So HCF is 17


Now, the minimum number of tiles length wise


Minimum number of tiles width wise


Total tiles = 34 × 22 = 748
