The two outcomes of Cabinet Mission Plan was:

• On Aug16th’1946 Muslim League decided on ‘Direct Action Plan’, causing several riots in Calcutta and deaths of thousands of people.


• Congress’s decision of partition of Punjab, one with Muslim majority and other with Hindu/Sikh majority was enforced in March’1947. This principle was also, applied for Bengal.


OR


The two outcomes of the provisional elections held in 1946 were:


• The Congress won the general constituencies with 91.3% votes by non-muslims.


• The league won all the 30 reserved constituencies with 86.6% of Muslim's vote.
