It is better to transplant seedlings in a flower-bed in the evening and not in the morning.

This is because during the day the heat is extensive which leads to high transpiration rate but the newly planted seedling needs some time to get accustomed to the surrounding environment thus leading to a low root pressure and thus leading to the wilting of the leaves and finally its death due to excessive transpiration.
