How can you say photosynthesis maintains a balance between oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere?

i. Photosynthesis a process by which plants prepare their own food.

ii. The food prepared is glucose with oxygen and water as by-products.

iii. Hence this oxygen is released into the atmosphere which is taken in by the animals for respiration.

iv. Animals in return exhale the Carbon dioxide which is taken in by the plants.

v. The plants now use this carbon dioxide to prepare their own food.

vi. Hence this cycle goes on and photosynthesis maintains balance between oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
