Divide 282 into two parts such that the eight part of the first and the fifth part of the second are in the ratio 4:3?

Let the first part be x

And the second part is 282 – x


8th part of the first one


And


5th part of the second one


According to the question,




15 x = 32(282 – x)


15x + 32x = 32 × 282


47x = 9024




So the first part is 192


And second part is 282 – 192 = 90
