By selling 144 hens, swarn lost the selling price of 6 hens. Find her lost percent.

Let the selling price of one hen be x


Total selling price of hen = 144 x


Due to selling at this price, he lost 6 hen selling price which is


= 6 x


Loss = cost price – selling price


6x = CP – 144x


CP = 6x + 144x


CP = 150x


Percentage loss


= 4 %


Percentage Loss = 4 %.
