How much must pure alcohol be added to 400ml of a 15% solution to make its strength 32%?

Suppose we add ‘x' ml of pure alcohol in this solution to make the strength of 32%


So the total volume of solution = 400 + x


According to the question,








Thus, we add 100 ml of pure alcohol in solution to make strength of 32%.
