By selling 45 lemons a vendor loses a sum equal to the selling price of 3 lemons. Find his loss percent.

Let selling price (SP) of one lemon = x

Total SP of 45 lemon = 45 x

Loss amount = selling price of 3 lemon = 3x

Loss = total CP – SP

3x = CP – 45x

CP = 3x + 45x

CP = 48x

Percentage loss
