There are 120 girls and 57 boys in a school. If 5% of the girls leave and no new pupils are admitted, what percentage of the whole school will be boys?

Given,

Number of girls in the school = 120


Number of boys in the school = 57


Number of girls leaving the school



i.e. 6 girls


girls remaining = 120 – 6 = 114


Total students in the school = 114 + 57


= 171


Percentage of boys in the total students
