Find the values of k for which the system of equations kx – y = 2, 6x – 2y = 3 has a unique solution.

For to have a unique solution, it must satisfy

a1 = k, b1 = -1, a1 = 6, b2 = -2

Hence, for all values expect k = 3, the above pair of equations have a unique solution.
