Find the quotient and the remainder when:

f(x) = x3 – 3x2 + 5x –3 is divided by g(x) = x2 – 2.

It is given in the question that,

f (x) = x3 – 3x2 + 5x – 3


And, g (x) = x2 – 2



Hence,


Quotient q (x) = x – 3


Remainder r (x) = 7x – 9
