The zeros of the polynomial x2 – 2x – 3 are

We have, f(x) = x2 – 2x – 3


Now, put f(x) = 0


x2 – 2x – 3 = 0


x2 – 3x + x – 3 = 0


x(x – 3) + 1(x – 3) = 0


(x – 3)(x + 1) = 0


Thus, x = 3, -1


Hence, option C is correct.
