Find the quotient and the remainder when:

f(x) = x4 – 3x2 + 4x + 5 is divided by g(x) = x2 + 1 – x.

It is given in the question that,

f (x) = x4 – 3x2 + 4x + 5


And, g (x) = x2 + 1 – x



Hence,


Quotient q (x) = x2 + x - 3


Remainder r (x) = 8
