Find the quotient when p(X) = 3x4 + 5x3 – 7x2 + 2x + 2 is divided by (x2 + 3x + 1)

It is given in the question that,

p (x) = 3x4 + 5x3 – 7x2 + 2x + 2


Now we have to divide p (x) by (x2 + 3x + 1), we get:



Hence, the quotient is 3x2 – 4x + 2
