What is aminoacylation? State its significance.

Aminoacylation is a process in which amino acids are activated in the presence of ATP and their linkage to their related tRNA. If two such charged tRNAs are brought close enough, the formation of peptide bond between them would be made by using energy.


Carries amino acid to the site of protein synthesis.
