A train 280 m long is running at a speed of 42km/hr. How much time will it take to pass a man standing on a platform?

Length of the train is 280 m which will be equal to distance travel.


According to the question


Distance Travelled = 280 m


The speed of the train = Converting into m/s


Let the time taken be x seconds.


Using the formula





⇒ x = 24


Hence the train will take 24 seconds to pass a man standing on the platform.
