When she came home she measured the length of the saree and found that the saree was half a meter less in length than what the shopkeeper had told her. She found that she is at a loss of 220 because of this. What is the length of the saree she bought home?

Mr. Jane donates Rs 1 lakh to a school and the interest on it is to be used for awarding five scholarships of equal value. If the value of each scholarship is Rs 1 500 find the rate of interest.
