Let the age of Vikas be x.

Then the age of Deepak will be 2x.


Given that difference in their ages is 11 years.


⇒ 2x – x = 11


⇒ x = 11.


Hence, the age of a Vikas = x = 11 years, and


The age of Deepak = 2 × x = 2 × 11 = 22 years.
