A basket contains 5 apples. Do you know how to divide them among 5 kids so that each one has an apple and one apple stays in the basket?

Keep one apple in the basket. Give the basket with the apple to one kid.

So both basket and kid have one apple.


And now, distribute the other 4 apples to the remaining four kids, one each.

Out of a swarm of bees, one fifth settled on a blossom of Rose and one third on a flower of Sunflower and three times the difference of those numbers flew to the bloom of a marigold. One bee which remained hovered and flew about in the air allured at the same moment by the pleasing fragrance of a jasmine and pandanus. What is the number of bees?
