Lena has won 117 rupees in form of 5 Rs and 2 Rs coins. Number of 2 Rs is 4 times of 5 Rs coins. Find denomination of coins.

Let the number of Rs 5 coin = x

So,


number of Rs 2 coins = 4x


total money = (5 × x) + (4 × x × 2)


= 5x + 8x


= 13x.


According to the question,


13x = 117



number of 5rs coins = x = 9


number of 2rs coins = 4x = 4 × 9 = 36
