Is it possible for the blood to clot under the skin? Give reason in support of your answer.

Yes, it is possible for the blood to clot under the skin. Sometimes due to a sharp pinch by any object, the blood may clot under the skin. In this, the skin does not break but one or more fine capillaries lying under the skin are injured & the escaped blood forms a clot under the skin.
