Oxygen enters the lungs as part of the air that we breathe. It goes to the blood vessels deep in our lungs & then on to all parts of the body.

The lungs releases carbon dioxide from the bloodstream into the atmosphere in a process of gas exchange.



3. Urea

Kidney



Urea is a waste product which is transferred from liver to kidneys so as to remove it via urine. (Urea is a constituent of urine).

The carbohydrates are transferred from intestine to liver as liver acts like a store to regulate the quantity of nutrients e.g excess sugar is stored as glycogen.
