How did the revolution affect the everyday life of the people of France? Highlight the political reason behind the French Revolution?

The revolution affects the everyday life of the people of France. The abolition on the censorship was removed and the freedom of the press was granted which resulted in the printing of the books and newspapers. The declaration of the rights of man and citizens declared Freedom of Speech and Expression, which led to the books and pamphlets, started circulating. Freedom of Press led to the transfer of opinions and views between different parties. Plays, songs, dramas and festive occasions presented the ideas of Liberty and Justice which attracted a large number of populations. The books had already been published by the philosophers on such topics but it was an advantage only to the people who could read.

The political reason behind the French revolution was that Louis XVI who was the king of the Monarchial form of government of France. The state was facing financial problems due to the frequent wars and as a result, to meet these expenses and to maintain court, army, government universities and offices, the state increased the taxes. This led to poverty and ultimately widened the gap between rich and poor.
