How did peasants protest against feudal lords or nobles of France?

It was the rumours that made peasants protest against feudal lords or nobles of France - that the Lord of Manor (an estate consisting of the lord’s land and his mansion) appointed the group of robbers to destroy the crops and field. When they heard about this, the peasants with Hoes and Pitchforks (agricultural tools) attacked castles and the houses of King and Nobleman. They looted the stored grains and burnt the documents containing information related to dues. As a result, nobles ran away and migrated to other places. Indirectly, this rumours had motivated the people to begin the French revolution.
