How did the law introduce by the revolutionary government help to improve the lives of women in France? Explain.

The revolutionary government introduced such laws which helped the woman to improve their lives. They were:

• State schools which were created which resulted in education being made compulsory for girls.

• Under the civil law, Marriage became the contract in which individuals should enter with his will. So fathers could no longer force their girls to marry.

• Divorce became legal and could be applied by both men and women.

• Women can do jobs and run their small business or can become the artist.
