The zeroes of the polynomial p (x) = x2 + x - 6 are

We have,

p (x) = x2 + x - 6


So, zero of the given polynomial can be calculated as follows:


x2 + x – 6 = 0


x2 + 3x – 2x – 6 = 0


x (x + 3) – 2 (x + 3) = 0


(x + 3) (x – 2) = 0


Now, x + 3 = 0


x = - 3


And, x – 2 = 0


x = 2


Hence, the zeros of the given polynomial are -3 and 2


∴ Option C is correct
