(2x + 7) (3x – 5)

Using identity -

(cx + a)(dx + b) = cdx2 + (ad + bc)x + ab, we get -


(2x + 7) (3x – 5) = (2× 3)x2 + (7× 3 + (– 5)× 2)x + (7)× (– 5)


= 6x2 + (21 – 10)x – 35


= 6x2 + 11x – 35
