Find the distance between the following pair of points:

(2, 3), (4, 1)

Given points are (2, 3) and (4, 1)



We need to find the distance between these two points.


We know that distance(S) between the points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is





⇒ S = √8


⇒


⇒ S = 2√2


∴ The distance between the points (2, 3) and (4, 1) is 2√2 units.
