Given that the intercepts are in the ratio 3:2


Let the x–intercept be 3k and 2k, where k is some constant


Using the intercept –form, the equation of the line is





The point (3, 4) lies on this line, thus the point will satisfy the equation of the line




1 + 2 = k


K = 3


Thus the equation of the line is



2x + 3y = 18


2x + 3y –18 = 0
