Factorize:

6xy – 4y + 6 – 9x

Given 6xy – 4y + 6 – 9x = (2y×3x – 2y×2 + 3×2 – 3×3x)


Taking 2y common from 1st and 2nd term and – 3 from 3rd and 4th,


6xy – 4y + 6 – 9x = 2y(3x – 2) + ( – 3)(3x – 2)


⇒ 6xy – 4y + 6 – 9x = (3x – 2) (2y – 3)
