In the given figure, and AB = 5 cm. Find the value of DC.

In AOB and COD,

∠ AOB = ∠COD (Vertically opposite angles)


(given)


Therefore according to SAS similarity criterion,


∴ AOB ~ COD


Since, triangles are similar, hence corresponding sides will be proportional





⇒ DC = 10cm
