x — y — 3 = 0

The given equation is


2x – y = 5


and x – y = 3


Now, let us find atleast two solutions of each of the above equations, as shown in the following tables.


Table for 2x – y = 5 or y = 2x – 5



Now, table for x – y = 3 or y = x – 3




Here, the lines intersecting at point C, i.e. (2, – 1)


The point which intersects at y axis are A (0, – 5) and D (0, – 3)
