Write the first three terms of the following sequences defined by:

Given: tn = 2n


Taking n = 1, we get


t1 = 21 = 2


Taking n = 2, we get


t2 = 22 = 2 × 2 = 4


Taking n = 3, we get


t3 = 23 = 2 × 2 × 2 = 8


Hence, the first three terms are 2, 4 and 8.
