Q26 of 186 Page 345

If √3sin θ = cos θ and θ is an acute angle, find the value of θ.

We are given that: √3sin θ = cos θ

∴sin θ /cos θ = 1/√3

⇒ tan θ = 1/√3

⇒ tan θ = tan 30°

On comparing both sides, we get,

θ = 30°
