Reema's mother present age is 3 times Reema's age.


y = 3x


After 2 years


Reema’s age = x + 2


Reema’s mother age = 3x + 2


Mother’s age is 10 years more than twice of Reema’s age.


3x + 2 = 10 + 2(x + 2)


3x + 2 = 10 + 2x + 4


3x – 2x = 14 – 2


x = 12


Therefore, Reema's age is 12 years and her mother’s age is 12×36 = 36 years.
