In the adjoining figure, AOB is a straight line. Find the value of x. Hence, Find And

X=27.5, =77.5°=47.5°

AOB is a straight line

Therefore, + ∠COD + = 180°

⇒ (3x - 5)° + 55° + (x + 20)° = 180°

⇒ 3x - 5° + 55° + x + 20° = 180°

⇒ 4x = 180° - 70°

⇒ 4x = 110°

⇒ x = 27.5°

= (3x - 5)°

= 3×27.5 – 5 = 77.5°

= (x + 20)°

= 27.5 + 20 = 47.5°
