As we know that sum of two complementary – angles is 90o.


So, x + y = 90o


Let x be the common multiple.


According to question angles would be 2x and 3x.


2x + 3x= 90


5x = 90o


x = 18o


2x = 36o


3x = 54o


So, larger angle is 54o
