Putting the value of -2, in the given polynomial,


3(-2)2 + (-2) – 10


3(4) – 2 – 10


12 – 12


0


∵ the value comes out to be 0.


∴ -2 is one of the zeroes and, yes 3x2 + x — 10 is a quadratic polynomial.
