Given,

4x³ – 7x + 3,put x = 1

Then, 4 × 1 – 7 + 3 = 0.

since, this equation is divisible by (x – 1).

according to the question,

4x³ – 7x + 3 = (x – 1)(4x² + 4x – 3)

= (x – 1)[4x² + 6x – 2x – 3]

= (x – 1)[2x(2x + 3) – 1(2x + 3)]

= (x – 1)(2x + 3)(2x – 1)

If the quotient on dividing, 8x⁴ – 2x² + 6x – 7 by 2x + 1 is 4x³ + px² – qx + 3,then find p, q and also the remainder.
