Is it possible to construct a triangle whose sides measure 7 cm, 5 cm and 12 cm?

For any triangle the length of each side of the triangle is greater than the difference between the lengths of the other two sides.


Here, 12 – 7 = 5 cm.


Also, the length of third side of triangle to be constructed is 5 cm.


Hence, such a triangle is not possible.
